STORM vs. JETHAWKS

Following a seven-game road trip, the Storm return home to The Diamond for the final homestand of the regular season over Labor Day weekend. The home stretch will wrap up with four against the Lancaster JetHawks, which will be the last time these two clubs meet in 2019. The JetHawks, Class-A Advanced affiliate of the Colorado Rockies will be visiting Lake Elsinore for the fourth time after the Storm took two of three back at the beginning of July. With 28 head-to-head matchups in the books, the Storm and JetHawks have split the series 14-14 with the Padres’ affiliate winning five of the last seven at The Hangar in the month of August. As the Storm have bounced back in the season series, they have taken the lead in all major stat categories offensively such as batting average (.292 to .262), runs scored (163 to 137), home runs (31 to 23) and walks (91 to 87). On the mound, the Storm staff is more than a run better in ERA (4.13 to 5.27) and totaling 100-plus more strikeouts (271 to 169).
